Air Fryer Miso Butter Chicken Wings
✅ Serves: 2 (makes ~8 wings)
📋 Ingredients:

8 chicken wings (split into flats and drumettes)

1 tbsp white miso paste

1 tbsp unsalted butter (softened or melted)

1 tsp tamari or light soy sauce
-
1 tsp lemon juice or rice vinegar
-
1 tsp honey or maple syrup
-
1 garlic clove, minced (or ¼ tsp garlic powder)

Black pepper, to taste

Optional: ½ tsp sesame oil or a sprinkle of sesame seeds for garnish

👩🍳 Instructions:
🔹 1. Make the marinade
In a small bowl, mix together:

Miso + butter + soy sauce + lemon juice + honey + garlic + pepper
(You can warm it slightly to blend if needed.)
🔹 2. Marinate the wings

Pat wings dry.

Toss in the miso butter mixture to coat evenly.

Let marinate 15–30 mins at room temp, or up to overnight in the fridge (best for flavour).

🔹 3. Air fry

Preheat air fryer to 190°C (375°F).

Arrange wings in a single layer (use parchment liner if desired).

Air fry for 22–25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and slightly caramelised.

🔹 4. Optional glaze (if you want extra shine):
- Mix ½ tsp miso + ½ tsp honey + 1 tbsp hot water and brush over wings during last 2 mins.
